June Events + Upstreet’s 9th Birthday celebrations!
One minute you’re watching the first tank get installed, then you blink… and your brewery is turning 9 years old. HOW THE HECK DID THAT HAPPEN!
We wanna celebrate another awesome year of refreshing the community with those who helped us along the way – all of YOU. We’ve got some awesome events happening at both locations coming up in the next few weeks:
Coasting Run Club Patio Pace! – Thursdays at 7pm – Craft Beer Corner

We’re hitting Patio Pace this summer!! Every Thursday at 7pm, join the Coasting Run Club on a social run from Craft Beer Corner followed by a little hang on the deck! Craft Beer Corner will be offering staff priced beers and Rewinds to enjoy post-run, and an awesome selection of non-alcoholic options as well.
Coasting Run Club is a free social run club that does weekly 4-5k runs/walks at a conversational pace! They welcome anyone and everyone regardless of experience level. The goal is to get out, get moving and meet some great people.
Night Ride – Friday, June 21 at 8pm – Upstreet Taproom

Meet up at the Upstreet Taproom, a bike friendly business, before heading out for light up the night bike ride on the trail and quiet neighbourhood streets. We’ll end our ride back at Upstreet for a drink or two. Put on by Bike Friendly Communities PEI. Glow sticks and bike decorations are encouraged; bike lights and reflectors are required for this 19+ event.
Island Tides Silent Disco – Saturday, June 22, 8pm – Craft Beer Corner

Groove through the streets of Charlottetown while listening to some of the best hits. Experience the music of a private DJ in your headsets and feel the vibes of the city around you. Be inspired by the dance marshall or flow to the beat of your own inner dance monkey.
The silent disco will begin at Craft Beer Corner at 8pm. We will move & groove around the downtown core for 45 mins and end the disco right back at Craft Beer Corner. This is a 19+ event. Please bring your ID – required for the headphone deposit and will be returned at the end of the event.
DJ – JAVIER – Saturday, June 22, 10pm – Craft Beer Corner
Javier is back at the corner, guaranteeing great tunes and great times. No cover!
Afternoon Karaoke – Sunday, June 23, 2-4pm – Upstreet Taproom
Join host Emily Affleck for an afternoon of Karaoke for everyone! The kitchen will be open to serve up delicious food, and of course we’ll have drinks on tap for those 19+. It’s a great opportunity to bring your loved ones out, sing your favourite songs and have some fun.

Patio Laughs is back for its 4th season! Join us June 26 for opening night with headliner Britt Campbell. Hosted by Tanya Nicolle.
Karaoke with Brandon Howard Roy – Wednesday, June 26, 8-10pm – Craft Beer Corner
Join host Brandon Howard Roy for a night of awesome karaoke in our vibey downtown location. Grab a cocktail and a partner and choose your song to belt, or come and watch!
Trivia on Tap with Gerald Hannam – Thursday, June 27, 7-9pm – Upstreet Taproom
Get your thinking caps on and head to the Taproom for Gerald Hannam’s general knowledge trivia! Expect thought provoking questions in a wide variety of categories, beer questions, prizes and of course great food and drinks. Get your team together and come early to get a table!

DeNovo Release + Beer Tasting with Hogie – Friday, June 28, 4pm – Upstreet Taproom
Grab a flight and join Co-owner/Brewmaster Mike “Hogie” Hogan as he talks about Upstreet’s 9th iteration of our birthday beer, DeNovo, plus gives a history and flavour profile of a few other staff and customer faves. Come with any beer questions!
Quizzing Queer Trivia with Katie Perry – Friday, June 28, 7-9pm – Craft Beer Corner
Join everyone’s favourite quizzing queer, Katie Perry, for a night of general knowledge trivia and laughs. This is Katie’s last trivia before summer, so make sure you come early to get a spot!
Upstreet’s 9th Birthday Party – Saturday, June 29, 2-5pm – Upstreet Taproom
We’re coming up on 9 years of refreshing the community, and we want to celebrate with all of YOU! Join us for a birthday party filled with great tunes, drink specials and delicious eats, featuring Josh Carter, Benny Von, Joce Reyome and Jamie Crawford. We’ll be slinging $4 beers and $5 rewinds and toasting to another awesome year.

Thank each and every one of you that supported us, that bought products, came out to events, said hi at shows, grabbed a pint in a restaurant, and were just generally amazing customers. We can’t wait to celebrate another year – and you just wait to see what we have up our sleeves for year 10
