Upstreet Craft Brewing

Are you outgoing, passionate about customer service, and a master at creating unforgettable experiences? If so, then Upstreet Craft Brewing is the place for you. We are on the hunt for a Food and Beverage Manager in our Taproom who can bring a burst of energy and imagination to our space. We’re not just looking for someone to manage the taproom—we want someone who can transform the space into the beating heart of the community.

Upstreet is on a mission to positively impact Atlantic Canada through shared experiences that connect creativity, culture and community.

Help us “Refresh the Community!”

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the Maestro of Events: You’ll dream up and execute events that bring people together. Whether it’s a trivia night, live music, or a quirky new event you’ve imagined, you’ll be empowered to let your creativity shine.
  • Lead with Heart: You’ll inspire, coach, and work closely with our crew, fostering a vibe of trust, joy, and fun – you’ll see results through personality and process.
  • Juggle Like a Pro: From managing the kitchen and bar to keeping tabs on inventory, you’ll keep everything flowing smoothly. You’ll also keep our POS system running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Create Magic: We’re all about innovation and imagination. You’ll constantly look for ways to improve our service, challenge the norm, and keep things fresh and exciting.
  • Keep the Wheels Turning: Behind every great taproom is an organized person who handles the nitty-gritty. From managing schedules and taking care of admin tasks to jumping behind the bar and serving food, you’ll keep all the gears in motion, making sure everything runs like clockwork.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Event Enthusiast: You have a knack for planning and pulling off events that draw in a crowd.
  • Customer Service Superstar: You’re passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for every guest.
  • Foodie with a Flair: You’ve got experience in food service and know how to keep the kitchen and bar in sync and working together like a dream.
  • Leader by Nature: With 2-3 years of management experience in hospitality, you demonstrate the essential leadership skills that inspire, motivate, and bring out the best in people.
  • Adaptable and Creative: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace change, and aren’t afraid to think outside the box.
  • Detail-Oriented: We believe the magic is in the details. You’ll help keep our taproom running smoothly by ensuring everything from the perfect pour, to the playlist, is just right to create an exceptional experience for our guests.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us:

  • Flexible hours: Fulltime, $22/hour plus tips with a mix of days, evenings and weekends.
  • Perks Galore: Discounts, health and dental benefits, and a staff wellness program, because we care about your well-being.
  • Room to Grow: Training and education opportunities to help you keep leveling up.
  • Community Vibes: You’ll be a key player in creating a space where people love to gather, connect, and have a blast.
  • Be yourself: Upstreet is more than just a workplace—it’s a place where you can bring your whole self to work, make a difference, and have fun doing it.
