The Upstreet Taproom is looking for an outgoing, fun-loving person with exceptional customer service skills to help our team provide a unique Upstreet experience for every customer. Acting under the Taproom Managers, taproom servers will encourage a playful and energized team environment, with a focus on respect and communication. They will contribute to a team that is focused on delivering a high degree of customer service to all patrons. Taproom Servers will be the face of Upstreet, greeting customers and groups, becoming brand ambassadors and providing an exceptional customer experience.

We want someone who:

• Demonstrates a passion for creating exceptional experiences for every customer.
• Excels at relationship building with customers and our team.
• Has 1 – 2 years experience in a restaurant or bar setting.

Upstreet Craft Brewing is looking for full time packaging line operators for the 2019 summer season. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic individuals who can work consistently in a high-paced, physically demanding environment. The packaging line operators will be responsible for packaging beer into kegs bottles and cans; cleaning/maintenance of kegs and equipment, warehousing and organizing inventory, keg deliveries, and general brewery cleaning and sanitization. Training and supervision will be provided in a positive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and compatible personality for working in a team environment
• Ability to do repetitive and physically demanding tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Communication skills and ability to follow direction
• WHMIS, Forklift, and First Aid certificates an asset
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Class 5 driver’s license is required, special circumstances will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Follow standard operating procedures to run bottling line and kegging machine
• Assemble packaging materials
• Warehousing and inventory organization
• Keg deliveries
• Cleaning and sanitization of packaging equipment, and packaging area
• Follow safety protocols and training to ensure a safe working environment
