CONTEST – REWIND’S GREAT ISLAND GETAWAY

It’s summertime on PEI and you deserve the staycation you’ve been dreaming of. We’re going to make it easy on you this year: let us plan the whole thing!

Rewind’s Great Island Getaway has been designed to help you unwind and experience PEI the right way, without a worry in the world. Fresh seafood, immersive nature, local talent, and outdoor adventures. This two-night adventure is August 13-15, in and around the beautiful community of Victoria, PEI.

Here’s what the two lucky winners can expect:

On August 13th, you will make your way to the Treetop Haven destination in Mount Tryon. For two nights, you will be staying in one of their new Cozy Cabins. The cabin is designed to help you discover the magic of the Scandinavian concept of ‘hygge’- providing a reprieve from the day-to-day busyness of life. The cabin features all the comforts of home- minus WiFi or televisions, plus a hot tub among the trees and underneath the stars.

You’ll have a Rewind prize pack waiting for you there full of unique merch items and goodies.

That night, you’ll be dining at the Landmark Oyster House in the beautiful Victoria. PEI Oysters are exported worldwide – because of our cold and clean water, they are known to be some of the freshest in the world. The Landmark carries a rotating selection of premium varieties of various sizes, textures, and flavours. They are known for more than just oysters, this well-loved restaurant has an amazing dinner menu and cocktail list.. (you’re in good hands.)

After supper, you’ll be walking across the street to the Victoria Playhouse to take in some local talent. The Good Time Radio Variety show is a modern take on a classic- complete with music, mystery, comedy, and adventure. The all-star cast includes nationally recognized performers who all make PEI their home, and this is guaranteed to be a must-see.

The next day, you’re heading out to sea. By-The-Sea kayaking has been offering paddling on the south shore for 19 years and the beautiful Victoria has some of the best kayaking on the Island for both experienced and beginner paddlers. You’ll head out that afternoon to take in all of nature nearby.

After you’ve worked up a good appetite, you’re heading to the Lobster Barn Eatery for a delicious local lunch. The Lobster Barn is a favorite among locals and is known for its lobster rolls, homestyle cooking, and great atmosphere.

And of course, for dinner later that evening you’re heading to Richard’s Fresh Seafood for another tasty feast. Richard’s is one of the Island’s longest-running fish shacks and has been serving customers for over 40 years. You can’t go wrong with their well-loved menu.

Enjoy one more night in your cozy cabin before you head back to reality (aka, your home) on August 15 🙁
